Our cat likes boxes!

You know our cat, Missy, loves boxes! You bring home a box, she loves to play around it and inside it. It is almost like younger kids at Christmas time, it seems they are more interested in the boxes then the toys that come in it.

I got a hit!

My hit! — This bill has travelled 603 Miles in 34 Days, 10 Hrs, 30 Mins at an average of 18 Miles per day. I entered this bill in Knoxville, TN and it is now in Lincoln, MI. This bill was part of this years yard sale that I put aside to spend in Michigan for my vacation.
Whining does wonders! I want more hits & I want them now! *fingers crossed* Wish me luck! I did rank 48 in the state of TN, now I went to 55 or so. *Pouts* I want to move up again, more toward the top 30, etc. So come on folks and hit my bills, so I can move on up in the ranks.

A Jingle for my web site…

I think it would be cool to come up with a jingle for my web site. It would be something little bit about me and my collection (collecting business cards). I know I cannot come up with anything. But does anyone have any ideas or someone here that can do jingles that would be willing to do one for me. I would give you credit for doing it. Any ideas/suggestions/input, etc. for a jingle? Maybe have something with “Got business cards? — Will add to my collection!” or something in it too. Or even something else or something catchy, etc. I would love to have it as a mp3 file too, if possible. Also, what is a good length for a jingle (as in 15 seconds — plus/minus).

Yesterdays business card roundup!

I got 83 unique business cards yesterday. I got them from…
- 2 — Myself
- 2 — Amy Patterson
- 79 — Westchester, NY — No return address (1 Dup)
- 0 New — Old coworker (900+ Dups) — Their old business cards
As you can see, I also take dups, for those new to reading my journal. Dups can help me trade with my other collector friends. I belong to several clubs. I have a database of over 500 people that have collected or still collect. I think one person said he has one that is over 1,000. I prob. trade with an avg. of 20 regular traders and about another 20 non-regular. Plus, one of my clubs I belong to, they pick 2 people for Member of the Month and we send them 20 cards, plus those whos birthdays are for that issue. What I also do is, if I get over 75 of close to it of one card, I will group it in a lot of 50, to use at a business card gathering that usually goes on once a year for the big one, and sometimes there are mini-gatherings that happen here and there. I haven’t yet been able to attend one, but, I do mail one so they have plenty of cards for those who attended. I know if I attended one, I would like to gain tons and tons of new business cards.

Oh yea, I am very close to my short-term goal of 93K by my birthday. I have slightly a little over one month until my birthday. But, we are not going to mention how old I am going to be. This 93K is my secondary short-term goal. But as always, my long-term goal is ONE MILLION.
Now to see what is in the mail today, as far as, business cards are concerened. BTW, I will be posting my half-year stats for my business cards soon, prob. this Saturday, July 1.
