My blog is now back Online. I will have some tweaking to do. mister.net who host my site had a server crash. They were not totally able to recover everything, but I was able to get my post. I think that is the most important part of my blog. All my blog entries, over 2,000, now do not have tags to them. My blog has been down for almost 2 weeks now. I also moved my blog from the subdomain, blog.cardeologist.com to my main domain. But, no worries, anything you type in from old domain, will automatically take you to the main domain (www.cardeologist.com).
I did try to import my comments, but it doesn’t seem to have imported them correctly.
Lesson learned, back up and back up more often. I still have to redo my sisters blog.
BTW, thank you mister.net for your help in trying to recover my database, at least you got the most important tables needed for my blog.

I have decided to rename my blog. Bizcards Blog is now known as Steve Patterson’s Blog. My blog first started out on LiveJournal. Then it was known as Bizcards Journal. I was

I have two ideas for blogs that I plan to come up with here in the near future.
Photography Blog: I love to shoot pictures with my camera. I even own a digital SLR camera. I plan to have some of my photos and such up on it. Plus, mention I am available to take your pictures for birthday events, sporting events and more!
Graphic Design Portfolio: This blog is self-explanatory, it will show off my graphic design works I have created. It will have all my experiences as a graphic designer, even list where I designed the ad and what programs were used to design that ad. Plus, It would also have an Online type of resume with my work experience on it.
Both of these image blogs will take some time to incorporate and put up live on the Web. I plan to have them both as a sub domain off cardeologist.com. I will make a new post and have sidebar links on my main blog to both of these blogs.

I am still working on my blog. Some images and links are not working. I am working on fixing that so please bare with me as I correct these issues. Some how I lost some of my images, thank goodness I have most of the images backed up somewhere. As for some of the Web site links, well, some of them will have to be unlinked. As I go along, I may have to remove some older post due to the fact I cannot find the image and/or the link no longer exist on the Web.
Side note, as I finish that, as I have promised I will work on posting my poems onto my blog. So please be patient as I do that. As always feel free to subscribe to my RSS feed to keep updated on my post in my blog.

I just got done updating my blog.
I have a new look to it.
I noticed I just had a problem with single pages and single post loading all of the way.
I figured out it was a plug-in.
I have no clue how long my blog wasn’t working right, but I am sure I have lost a lot of visitors, traffic and even ranking in the Web due to it.
It is now fixed.

I just renewed my domain cardeologist.com. I have it for another year.
I paid $70 total, $35 for the domain and hosting for one year and $35 to add special package for the MySQL for my blog.
I used mister.net
So now my blog and my sisters blog will be around for another year.

If you have visited my blog with-in the last few days and it was sluggish (slow) I am so sorry. I been working like crazy to figure out what was wrong. How did I fix this? I deleted my .htaccess file. I think it may have got corrupt. And now my blog is back to normal and working just fine. I am working on reactiving my plug-ins and such, so please be patient with me as I add all that stuff back. Again, thanks for reading Steve Patterson’s Blog formally known as Bizcards Blog.

I was able to redesign my custom blog topper for this blog. Instead of the custom default text that this theme used. You can see this at the top of my blog, it is my title topper for my blog.

I just noticed, while looking at some of my blog stats that I just Tweeted about, that my blog has been self-hosted for over a year now. It was a year back in April 2008. Remember I switched over from Livejournal.
bizcards How did I do that you ask? A special plug-in: LJ user ex WordPress Plug-in. It converts <lj user=”username”> or <lj user=”community”> to look like it would if it was in LiveJournal. I still have my entries cross-posted to my old LiveJournal. All those entries are friends only there. This was made possible by LJ-XP (LiveJournal CrossPoster).
I am looking forward to another year or more of my blog being self-hosted.
There are still a lot of changes I have in stored for my blog in the upcoming months. As you have read in previous post, I have combined old sub-domains and such onto my blog. That is just the start! So please keep coming back and finding out what is new!
