Combined a subdomian – Box Tops

Filed Under Box Tops, Family, School, Web site

I combined one of my subdomains into my blog. It was only had one page on it.
I combined my Box Tops subdomain. I put it all on a page on my blog. You can check it out at: http://blog.cardeologist.com/box-tops-for-education/.

This school year (2008-09), 5th grade year with your help we gave 694 General Mills Box Tops, 1 Fav-O-Rich Milk Cap, 4 Tyson A+ labels, 40 Campbell’s labels and 5 ink cartridges.

Please continue to send the Box Tops. The middle school my daughter will start saves and uses them too. Thanks very much!

Over the new few months or so, I plan to make some changes with some of my subdomains, just like I did with My Box Tops site. I will try to combine (mix in with my blog site). All my old subdomains that no longer work, will auto redirect to my blog. Thus, making pretty much everything on one area. Perhaps even saving file space and such.

Box Tops For Education

Stuff for Education

INFO

We need to start with the kids, after all they are who will be running our country in the future. I will use these and let my daughter take them to help support her school. My daughter is in the Sixth Grade this year (when school starts). My daughter would appreciate it very much, as well as everyone else at her school. The school plans on using these for education purposes. It might be a few you send, but every few helps out. It be the difference from a few cents that could prevent more technology. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION

Also, please feel free to send any Box Tops for Education from General Mills. You can donate box tops for education to my daughter for her school!
Please make sure it still has a valid date on the coupon you cut of for the box tops for education. You will find these education box tops on selected General Mills products. Each of those tops are worth about 10 cents each for the school. Products may vary. I was excited to get 100 box tops one day, but all of them were expired. I was like bummed. So, PLEASE check the dates on them. The school cannot accept ones that are expired.

FLAV-O-RICH CAPS FOR SCHOOLS

Also, you can donate Flavorich Caps for Schools to my daughter for her school! These Flavor-rich milk tops have an educational theme too to send money to schools. This is the Caps for Schools. They pay 5 cents per cap to the school.

PROJECT A+ FROM TYSON

Also, you can donate Project A+ Tyson labels to my daughters school. If you buy Tyson chicken, save the Project A+ (need the whole strip where it shows the 1 – 2 – 3 and the details part. They give the school up to 24 cents per label.

CAMPBELL’S LABELS FOR EDUCATION

You can also donate Campbell’s Labels for Education to my daughters school. Campbell’s products, need the front of label. Campbell’s Labels For Education. They have them on their soups, juices and more. Look for Labels for Education on the label. Also, the V8 Splash Smoothies have 10 bonus labels. The school gets to use a catalog and use it to order stuff based on the number of labels they have.

USED PRINTER/INK CARTRIDGES FOR EDUCATION

The school will send them in to be recycled. It could be bouble jet, lazer jet, ink jet, etc. Big or small ones. The school gets a ream of copy paper for each cartridge.

UPROMISE SAVING FOR COLLEGE

My daughter might be in Third grade, but today is the time to start saving up for college. By the time she get’s into college, it will be extremely expensive. Upromise allows you to help save for your childs college. Upromise will put money into his/her account for buying selected items, using your value cards at grocery stores. You can help other people save and so on. If you wish to help my daughter on your Upromise, let me know.

PAY PAL DONATION FOR COLLEGE

Another way, is to make a donation. This donation will be put into my daughter’s savings account. She won’t be able to use her savings until she goes off to college. So if you wish to make a donation, feel free to do so. Click on the pay pal donation icon below. Thanks so much for your help! If you contribute a donation of $10 or more, I will place your name/company and a link to the website on this web page.

I would like to thank those who have sent and who plan to send any of these above for my daughters school. They are greatly appreciated.

Today is special …

Today is a very special day. My little girl is another year older now.
They seem to grow up very quickly. I cannot believe she is now in her double digit numbers.
That is 10, for those who cannot do math. LOL Just kidding!
Before you know it, she will be off to college.
It seems time flies by more rapidly each and every day that passes.

business cards, Yesterday’s Total

Filed Under Business Cards, Family, Media & News

Yesterday was so crazy! I didn’t get to count my cards and totals until today.

I gained 102 business cards from Saturday, April 5, 2008. I gained 3 business cards from Amy Patterson & Daughter. Along with 2 duplicates. I also gained 20 from someone in Seattle, WA. It did not have a return address on it, but did have a note saying they have been meaning to send me these ever since I was on National Public Radio (NPR) from nearly 2 years ago this 22nd of April. My story is still on the site, Link to my NPR Story. I also gained 79 business cards from a Where’s George user who lives in Maryville, TN and is now relocating to Renton, WA. This nice box of business cards included 5 business card boxes full of duplicates. I estimate I gained 2,300 duplicates. Back to the NPR story part. When that story aired, I had 85,000 business cards. Today, I have 150,440 business cards.

Cards today!

The last few days have been really good for business cards. I got a business card autographed from a person that does a lot of walk on roles, they have been on movies, tv, commericals and plays, etc. I even got a bunch of them from England. But, today I did get a nice small box from unknown person that had about 99 business cards in it. Thanks to everyone who has sent me business cards and to those who are sending me business cards. My total now is 53,500! Go me! Spread the word and let everyone know about me and to have them send me business cards.
